eye brow person. Hmm... I'd say they probably deserve a buck or two out of courtesy.

Makeup consultant... no. Most work on commission and cosmetics are already expensive enough as it is. I'd give them a verbal compliment if they really helped turn you on to a new product or technique. Then purchase future products from them so they earn more commission. Direct your friends to her too. That's better than a tip.

I have no idea how I ended up in the make-up section. Send help. I'm lost.

I tip the lady who does my brows - I'd give 10 -15%. I don't think you should tip the makeup consultant - if you buy something from them, they should get some sort of commission anyway!

Anyone who provides a service, should be tipped. The tip is to be 15 to 20% of the total cost of the service.

The eyebrow person yes, 5-10%.

The makeup counter person is working on commission. Her job is to sell you the makeup she's putting on you, so you don't have to tip.

Treat this question the way that Mr. Pink did on "Resovoir Dogs." His monologue on tipping waitresses is fabulous and I suggest you watch it, listen to it or read it. The rest of the movie isn't so great.

You should. 15% is the standard, however I always tip at least 20%...it's an easy way to become a preferred client!
