what legal action can I take against my nab-or?

She wakes up early In the morning and goes around my house,my farther in laws house and my mom and dads house takeing picturs of the yard and trying to find something wrong with the yard or house. She has put letters in my mail box and my friends mail box stateing barking dogs and screaming kids make bad nabors if you know what I mean. She has been doing thise for seven years know. our grass gets a little high she takes picturs. my dad and mom is in bad health. I have told her that my dad has hart failer and my mom has crones disease. If she keeps up my dad is going to have severhart attack please. My dad has not been able to sleep for 3 days because of her flashing camras beside their bedroom window. So now he just stays awake so when she gets up of a morning he he can something infront of the window to keep the flashes frome coming though the blinds and waking up my mom. please help.

Get the advice of a lawyer, it seems that she is trespassing.maybe get a restraining order. But talk to a lawyer and find out what your rights are. In my state it is only $17 a month for a bunch of stuff including unlimited consultation.

First of all, put up no tresspassing signs.

Second, after you do that, get up early and document her tresspassing on posted property by photographing her yourself (be sure to get your signs in the photos). Take lots of photos with a camara that employs a date stamp on the photo. Be sure and let her know that you are there and tell her that she just tresspassed on openly posted property and that if she continues to do so, then you will take legal action. At least you will have documentation to back up your complaint.

Third, if she persists then call the authorities and file a complaint. They will be able to guide you more in what your local laws will let you do. They will ask you if you have tried to resolve this with her yourself first so you need to do this one way or another. Document everything.

I had a similar neighbor myself and they are AWFUL!

call your local police and make a report and tell them you want a tresspassing warnig gave to her and if she does it again for any reasion she will got to jail just tell the officer that shows up the story and that she is always in and out of your mail box b/c thats a federal offence to open/tamper with a mail box

You can call the cops(non-emergency line) Tell then the situation, and tell them that you want to report the HARRASMENT(use that word) and will if they will help file a complaint
