yeah...when i think of Austrailia i think of crocodile dundee or that other crocodile guy thats ont.v. all the time

No there is no "typical" Australian. Australia is multicultural society which means there are many different cultures and races (eg people from different countries with different backgrounds) , however, not just those either, Aussies come in all shapes and sizes. Theres no one "Australian" theres many!!!!!

there is an idea of a typical australian - ie a stereotype - along the lines of crocodile dundee but there are no people in australia who actually fit that stereotype

Yeah, me. I like to drink beer, I have several thongs, I like to watch sport, but not boring stuff. Only diff is that I don't have singlets, i don't own my own house because its expensive (bloody investment idiots), and hence I don't own a victor lawn mower. I also have a mate who wrestles crocodiles in the top end (yes, seriously).

Every aussie is a typical aussie, except for those non typical aussies.
