If you're going for natural look, then my beautician sister says you need to use taupes, pale (nonfrosty) pinks and muted corals (pinkish orange). Line just the top of your eyelids and make sure and wear mascara or curl your lashes.
Generally, the rule is:
to get noticed, use the opposite colors you were born with - so if you have brown eyes, use a dab of light blue or green over a beige or taupe base with a blue eyeliner.
We hope that helps!

As far as your eyes are concerned, try golden tones. Gold is the "in-color" nowadays, so you should be able to find it anywhere. Light liners that you can blend into the eye shadow will work well for you because of your darker skin tone. Greens and browns work really well - try to stay with earth-tones.
Peachy or golden blushes will work really nicely to compliment your skin tone.
As far as lips are concerned - stay with the brown, earthy theme and get a gloss, not a lipstick. It's easier and looks less messy.
Also, as a general rule - focus on one feature that you like best on your face. Don't do heavy eyes AND heavy lips, for example. The main key is to compliment, not create, beauty.

shimmer!! cooler hues looks great on darker skin! (like white, greens... GOLD!) use purple/violet eye liner to bring out the brown of your eyes. White eye liner is great for tired eyes.
Note that if you're going for very dramatic eyes, just put on a natural color lipstick (brown-red-ish color) and some gloss.
For blush, do not use the very very very pink ones. (it looks weird on dark skin, methinks) Maybe a little peachy or brownish-pink. Or maybe, use a bronzer. It looks great (especially during summer.) But don't put too much. Just brush it lightly on the cheeks and some areas where the light hits your face. you can even put some on your cleavage :D
but don't forget that good make-up starts from good skin. :D

Brown eyes can usually go well with all colors. To be funky&fun, use a metalic lilac, you can line your eyes with it,and use a few sweeps on your eye lashes, use black mascara, and watch your eyes OPEN before you. Gold is an excellent color and is IN. Try some gold shades and figure out the one YOU like best. For lips, purple undertone reds, nude light peaches.

The "best brown" skin tip I can give you comes from Iman, and that is to use pigment rich products. When you use products formulated for light skin there is a lot of white (titanium dioxide) fillers in the products- therefore- on dark skin you get a pastel chalky appearance. L'Oreal has a new HIP line (High Intensity Pigment), also you can find pigment rich formulas at www.ImanBeauty.com and www.FloriRoberts.com.

try a peachy or rosey blush, red wouldnt look so good.... try bronze eyes and some bronzer in a darkish tone on your cheeks to make your skin look brighter. purpleish lip colours usually work best on people of your colour
