Provide a salery cap on all actors. Then they could charge less that 12 dollars for a movie ticket, and 24.95 for a DVD. Actually it wouldn't help because they know people will pay for it, so that's what they will charge. Kinda like gas prices, if you think about it.

You can't there'll always be piracy, but the RIAA can lower the prices of their damned over-priced CDs, and movies. Why do they have to charge $20+ bucks for a DVD, that's so outrageous. If it cost $10, then it'll be affordable. Pirated movies cost about 5-10 dollars, so if they make their movie cost-competitive, piracy would not occur or at least be minimized.

Stop charging outrageous prices for movies. The reason people buy pirated movies and Cd's is because they either can't afford or they just don't want to pay the high *** prices of commercial media. Now if you could get a DVD in the store at about the same price that you could get a boot leg DVD from then you would just buy the one in the store.

Let cd's price go down...and make artists or singers create "buyable" music. And I'm not talking about just one good song in one cd, I'm talking about good over-all.
