I am so frustrated...and hurt to feel some of this people I know are taking advantage of me.And start not taking me seriously or abuse and neglect me ..

Those who are closer to you take you for granted because they know you will always be there because you have always been there for them. If you want these people to stop taking advantage of you then speak up about it. You shouldn't let it get to the point where it hurts you so badly. If they love you they will listen to what you have to say and take your words to heart. They might get a bit upset but they need to open their eyes and realize that they are hurting you.

you teach people how to treat you. if you want to be treated different or better you have to take a stand and insist on being treated a certain way. if they are used to treating you poorly, they'll probably go on until you make it clear that you won't put up with that any more. this may loose you a few friends but you'll find other ones that will treat you the way you want and so on. you have to make it clear at every turn that you will not tolerate disrepect, indifference, abuse or being taken advantage of. most of this begins with examining what you expect or tolerate and then deciding firmly what you really want from others. some won't honor your new side but others will. good luck

Were you brought up by someone who martyred them self and you are modelling them because you loved them, on an unconscious level? Or were you deprived of your needs being met and are stuck in that rut? If either or both rings true counselling is an option. That is if you consider yourself important.

They can become too comfortable with you... too sure of how you'll react... they know they can treat you badly & that you'll keep on loving them anyway.
You'll either have to make them believe you'll do something about them treating you badly... or you'll actually have to show them that you won't put up with them treating you badly.

because you let them show them your love and support but don't let them take advantage.you ask how? just don't give them the oppertunity to take advantage.
