Just want to know what to expect. Looks good from the previews.

ITS LONG!!! Expect to be there for 2 1/2 hours but its good!!!!!

I tthink it might be just as good but the ending...it will leave you wanting to know a few things about a certain curse of a certain ship called the Black Pearl...but I've already said to much. It really got my heart racing at some points though, and I found it was more of a thriller then the one before.
Oh, and if you like Captain Jack Sparrow, his last scene reminds be of Greek and Roman heroes for some reason. And I think the next movie will have things from the myth called the Odyssey (I hope that's how it's spelled, and that it's the right one.))

Depends if you like computer effects. There are tons of them, often filling the entire screen. Davy Jones and his crew are neraly all computer which I liked because everytime they were on screen I would look at all the different sealife morphed into them. As a stand alone movie, the first is better, but remember the second one was only made to get to the third. When the trilogy is complete, the second one will make more sense

i really liked the 1st movie but the 2nd was way to long and didn't have any funny parts like the 1st...i thought it looked good from the previews but it was a let down...also, i'll tell you that after u watch the ending it will be so obvious what the 3rd is going to be about...i just hope it will be better than the 2nd! :-)

I thought it wasn't as good as the first movie, but it did a wonderful job of setting up the third movie. A good friend of mine who is a HUGE "Pirates" fan and who has very good taste, thought "Dead Man's Chest" was better than "Curse of the Black Pearl."
Just go and have fun. I plan on paying to see it a second time, if that's any help.

the 11 has nothing to do with the first
some parts confused me
but once you get about half way through it's quit interesting
ended with a BIG cliffhanger--can't wait for the 3rd!!=]
but i thought the first was better though the 11 would be worth seeing

It's good. But the ending (if you call it that) pisses me off. Expect a lot frustration. Oh, and a bit of confusion over who you thought was dead, but who isn't. Great graphics. But definately visit the toilets before you go in. It's a bit long, and it will leave you hanging.

Ok, the special effects weren't as good as in the first one, but they are still pretty damn good looking. Comedy and action are way up. And seriously, you won't even think you're watching a Disney movie while your watching it. And the ending guarantees a sequal.

I thought it was much better, actually. I expected worse, seeing as they tied off the entire first movie, but it actually went quite well. I loved it and I am planning on seeing it again.
