are you drinking lots of water? if you're dehydrated your body will hang on to all the water it can.

Your body is retaining so much water right now, and it settles where it wants. Don't worry it eventually goes away. Don't be alarmed after having the baby if you seem more swollen than before it happens in cases where they had to give you an IV to keep you hydrated. Make sure you watch your salt intake and rest when you can put your legs up if there is swelling in your feet and ankles. God Luck!

I swelled up in my face, hands, feet and legs from the time i was 33 weeks til 36 weeks (when i had my son) and i had pre-eclampsia
But it could just be water retention. If you are concerned you need to ask your doctor.
Good luck and congrats

What's your question? You're not pre-eclamptic if your BP is normal. Bipedal edema is a common consequence of pregnancy and is usually due to the fetus impeding blood return from the lower extremities. You should consult your Obstetrician but if you want my advice, stay off your feet. You might also consider TED hose.

well keep your feet up and stress down. drink only water and get lots of sleep. mIf you have not have blood sugar checked lately i would ask the doctor for that. i had the same problem and found out at the end of my pregnancy i had gestational diabetes.

My doc said to rest with my feet propped up in a cool (not cold) bath (I put my feet up on the edge of the tub) & drink lottttts of water. I was also VERY swollen in my 3rd trimester, I'd just say from expirience to relax. It only gets worse with more you do.

my feet looked like footballs by the end of mine. Watch your salt intake remember everything from take-out has loads of salt. So does sald dressing, ketchup, mustard, etc. Eat more veggies and drink lots of water. Good luck the end is near!!

I agree it sounds like fluid build up to me too. I would call the Dr and just take it easy and rest. get your feet up as often as you can and don't try to over do it.
Congradulations !
