By not being concerned with your spelling, a few things may happen: you might fail to communicate your ideas (because they are too unclear) ; you imply a relatively low level of education and consequently will receive a response that is geared toward a lower level of intelligence than you may in fact possess. Worse yet, the reader will resent you for making them work harder to decipher what you mean. When you ask a question, you are asking other people to invest a piece of their life in responding to you, and why should you be so disrespectful of their time as to ask them to spend even more time working out your text? If you are so lazy that you can't check your spelling, why should we bother with you at all?

no but this upsets alot of peole who have nothing better to do but be miserable and this is a great source of misery out here in yahoo answer land, just look up questions about spelling and spell check you will find endless hostile questions and whiny complaints, so if you like messing with peoples minds just for the fun of it, then mispell your words and never use spell check

You know, I really do care. Spelling helps me understand what you are really trying to say. It's really exasperating to read some of the gibberish that people key in, and we have to guess which words they are really trying to use.

Well, if you check your spellings, people will actually know that you are educated. And it helps in your exams.
