I cannot believe that no one has said Goldberg.

Granted, Goldberg did not have staying power over a several year period, partly due to injury, etc. But for the time period he first came up in WCW, there was absolutely nothing like it. I live in Atlanta, and I saw several WCW shows at the Georgia Dome. It was absolutely, positively packed, and the reason was so they could see Goldberg spear and jackhammer somebody. The entire building about came unhinged when he hit the ring. I know wrestling is fake, but the raw brutality aspect of Goldberg was something that I don't know can ever be duplicated.

But I must say, in terms of personalties, nobody (AND THE STEAK MEANS NOBODY) has or ever will have anything on the Rock. I would watch a show just to see his interviews - absolutely the funniest &^%$ you will ever hear. His writers were great, and he was the perfect executioner of the writing.

Do you like pie.

So for pure brutality, I pick Goldberg. For the entertainment aspect, I pick The Rock.

This is easy, Ric Flair. Look at all he has done in wrestling, he's a record holding "16" Time World Champion, he's been able to hold audiences in the palm of his hand for decades, and he still does today, which is a feat in itself when so many others have had to hang up the boots long ago.

If he weren't so old, he'd definately be in the WWE title picture, he can out perform many of the current superstars of the product and that says something about him as well. Not to mention he's a technical wrestler, a storyteller, he can even do hardcore. He's not a one move set person, he can adapt.

This is a great question. The Rock,Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Hulk Hogan transcend the popularity of the sport to mainstream success. For pure wrestling ability-Bret Hart,Kerry Von Erich,Kurt Angle,Sting, and Ric Flair has to be considered. These superstars had some of the greatest matches in the history of the sport.

Counts on what you mean. If you are talking wrestling style and abilities, then I would go with Bret Hart or Curt Hennig. If you are talking about entertainment and charisma, the Hogan is your man. Hogan was a great entertainer, but if you watch his matches he seems a bit limited in his moves. Guys like Hart, Hennig, Angle, Benoit, Malenko....these guys are technical wrestlers. For my money, The Hitman all the way!
