Are you a smoker? Have you tried to quit? If so how hard was it and what did you do?

I am a Marlboro smoker and want to quit any suggestions.

I am. I usually smoke based on my emotional/mental state, or while socializing. To quit you can cut out everyone in your life for a little bit that smokes, take up a hobby that gives you an adrenaline rush, and exercise. If you find you start feeling bad, like you really want something but don't know what, you can supplement that with the patch or gum, or you can try to step down your smoking by cutting back how much you smoke, including putting out your cigarette earlier and earlier.
If it becomes very very difficult to quit you can see a doctor and discuss your options.
Acupuncture can give you a bit of a hormonal buzz that helps you quit smoking, but be consistent.

BTW: The best way to break a habit is to absolutely stop, because every time you repeat the activity you re-inforce that activity in your mind. Replacing it with another activity can be helpful, it will transfer the desire onto another activity.

I was a smoker but have quit now for 5 years. It was not very hard at all. You just have to quit cold turkey. If you want to quit and have the will power all you have to do is say I quit and do it. Some people say it is hard, but if you just do it and not think about it then it is much easier.

I quit with lots of not having any more money to buy them. It failed when I started making more of it though. Here's my suggestion-

If you want to stop smoking Marlboro (good choice by the way), might I suggest a refreshing Camel non filter?

I am 37yrs old. I've smoked since I was 16. I have tried to quit. You know how most people get crabby when they try to quit? Not me - I cry at the drop of a hat! My Mom put up wu\ith that for maybe a day, then she'd thrust a cigarette at me and say, "Here! have a smoke!" Quitting is not easy at all!

I was a smoker nearly fifteen years ago... I tried to leave it and used different ways. At the end I increased the amount (doubled)... And I quit...

Yeah. I quit for the three months I had to spend with family. I drank a lot of caffeine, chewed a lot of bubble gum, and sucked on lollypops.
