Well, aside for the fact that it gets me closer to level 6, it might also turn out to be a response that could get me additional 10 points if my response gets to be chosen as best answer. Not only that, it can also mean some more points when I get thumbs up on my best answers. :)
Besides, the thought I might have been able to help someone with my response is something the points cannot really buy.

I like answering it makes me feel like I have a lot of knowledge and like to share it with some... Oh yea the 2 points for replying lol.. I just like answering that's all... i'm being selfish just like the people that reply for 2 points... and just care about that. :P

Who knows? I dont pay attention to the points or levels, I like to read the questions and if I feel inspired to answer or comment I will, regardless of any points.

Well if it's a basketball game and the score is tied in double over time it's the decider of winner or loser.
