internal or external wireless adaptor? O/S needed etc. XP should find and install adaptor/software automatically. You'll need encryption serial numbers off of router during install.

Need more information, my man. What is your operating system? Do you want your laptop to be wireless, or do you want to connect to the router via USB or Ethernet cable? Does your laptop have a wireless card? What brand of router do you have? Answer these questions and I can help you.
Okay. I see that you have your wireless hooked up to your PC and that you want your Motorola card to be able to pick up the signal from your Linksys router. It is a little hard to type someone through this process, so let's try to start simple.
1) Do you have the installation CD for your Motorola card? If not, you can go to this page, http://broadband.motorola.com/consumers/support/default.asp?SupportSection=HomeNetworking, scroll down until you find the support information for your WN825G card, and download whatever it is you need--data sheet, user guide, drivers, and so forth. The installation CD is best, but if you don't have it, you're going to have to get your drivers using this download method. If you've got your CD, ignore this first step here.
2) Next, go to Linksys and find their user guide for your product. I'm assuming that you have the Wireless-G Broadband Router, and the pdf user manual for that item is here: http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1149562300349&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper. If you have a different product, you're going to have to go to www.linksys.com to search for the user guide for your specific product.
3) You need to make sure that your router is configured to broadcast its signal, so your Motorola card will be able to pick up the signal. Begin on page 30 of that pdf manual I just had you look at/download. Determine whether you will be using SecureEasySetup or Manual Configuration. Follow the directions for one of those options. This will allow you to enable your router to broadcast its signal.
4) Once you've got your router configured, leave it alone and move on to installing your Motorola card into your laptop. Follow the directions on the installation CD. It should walk you through the whole process.
-----
This information is by necessity incomplete, since I don't know what problems you'll run into, if any, when configuring your router and installing your card. But try these steps and see if they work.
If they don't work, please come back and write about the problems you encountered in appropriate detail. I can help you troubleshoot if I know exactly what went wrong.
Hopefully, though, of course, this beginning information will be self-explanatory once you get into the instruction manual and installation CD ... and with any luck, this info will be enough to set you up.
If not, don't hesitate to ask more.
