Most of us are naturally ugly. How are you supposed to get and keep anyone if you let all your ugliness show all the time?

Thank you! I've been reading all over that guys prefer the "natural look." Natural, natural, natural. They probably don't even realize how much their girlfriends really wear. I'm sick of hearing that-do they want us to be unattractive? I know I need my makeup, so I really wish they would learn to tolerate it.

Before I say anything let me say that i LOVE make up and have nothing agaisnst ANYBODY who does the following things i will describe:)

Make up covers who we really are underneath. So if you wear gobs of makeup and get fake boobs, bleached hair, (only examples coming to mind right now) then you are not letting what you really look like show...and you are fooling people into liking/loving what you arent. To be natural is to show who you really are and what you really look like. And if you think you are "naturally ugly", that is just you thinking that. There will be a wonderful guy out there who loves your "naturally ugly" self. Because he sees what you really look like and will love you for who you are. Isnt that feeling the best?? :)

I think quite the contrary...We're all naturally pretty and the big ugly makeup blocks it out. It's hiding behind a mask that's ugly, but having the confidence and know that you look beautiful that makes you beautiful.

No one is naturally ugly as you put it. There are people who believe they look better becuase they have certain characteristics that attract the oppisite sx But every signle person is beautiful. To go out without any much make up on requires confidence , the oppiste sx generally lieks this and its very good for your own self esteem. (AND SKIN!) Too much makeup makes your skin oily and more spot proned

Well, natural beauty is what your husband is going to wake up to, unless you plan on sleeping, showering, and doing whatever you do ALWAYS with makeup. As long as you are not hiding behind a mask , of makeup or your true personaltiy, i think being yourself is great. There is nothing wrong with wanting to look good, but puting your looks before your true self, then you will look really fake. Good luck

Natural pretty looks look the same regardless of the time of day. Gorgeous unnatural looks are potentially scary in the morning of after a shower. ;-) I don't really know. I don't wear makeup but a guy told me the above when I asked him why he kept following me around when there were so many made up girls all around.

You can use a small amount of makeup. Sometimes using too much makes you look as if you definitely are hiding something and look trashy. Natural beauty beats gobbs of makeup any day. We are our own worst enemies.

I agree. I have no problem with the way I look, but it's fun to play with make-up and try different looks. Sometimes I wear my hair curly (that's how it is naturally) and sometimes I straighten it. On an amusing note...you have to laugh at the girls who walk around like they're hot Sh*t but if you ever saw them without their hair and make-up done....eww.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Looking like a phony, bleach blonde, implant enchanced, botex injected, 110 lb shabby doll may be appealing to you. However, it isn't to many.

all i wear is mascara and sometimes face stuff cause thats all i need. when i see girls wearing alot of makeup, i dont think "pretty", i think "how bad can she possibly be that she needs to wear that much makeup"
I guess it has the opposite effect on me.
I mean every now and then i'll wear alot of really bright colors if im going out, but not for everyday.
