Take up guitar, start singing lessons, do painting. I think any sort of creative release will benefit you twice over.

What is it Bruce Lee said once, in essence..."The control of our being is not unlikethe combination of a safe. One turn of the knob rarely unlocks the safe. Each advance and retreat is a step toward one's goal."

Write a song, draw a cartoon. Plenty to do.

Ask your physician if any of the following low impact exercises would be beneficial and not detrimental (not knowing your diagnosis, I cannot answer you for certain - do not do these exercises unless you are cleared by the physician!):

Cycling
Swimming (or walking/exercises in water)
Pilates

Also, consider that you may be able to lift light weights for your upper body as long as it doesn't strain your knee.

Remember to ask your physician first!
