ok while I understand all you older people think 16 is too young to have sex, why tell girls that come on here that when most of the time they feel bad enough about it??? The girls that come on here have no where else to turn and you're going to get them to turn away from the only help they have by saying stuff like that and making them feel like **** when they already do??? A lot of you guys need to get a clue and realize when a girl like me ocmes on here with the problem I stated earlier it's because I had no where else to turn. Most girls on here are like that. So here's what I think. If you don't have any helpful polite tips, don't help. but I would like to know why.

I read your first question. I was 16 when I started to have sex. But my boyfriend was 16 too. When you have a boyfriend that is 23, there is a big age difference. It's not such a big deal when you're 21 and he's 28, but now there is a big difference. Isn't there a big difference between you and a 9 year old? See what I mean.
If you parents find out you are pregnant, they can press charges against your boyfriend, even if the sex was consensual. Be careful. First, go to a planned parenthood and see for sure if you are pregnant. Then go from there. Your boyfriend should have been mature enough to use a condom and have you protected. But at least he is being supportive.
Good luck to you sweetie. I wish you the best of luck.

Well, you didn't really ask I question, but I'll give you my two cents anyway. For one thing, not all people on here are like those you are talking about. It just depends who's answering questions when you decide to post your question. Second, a lot of the time, answerers get the same questions over and over and over. It's a bit frustrating to keep answering the same question every 10 minutes. If more people would use the search function, they might be able to find an answer to their question a lot sooner. I know this may not apply to you, but generally, it's true. Third, some people are just jerks. You'll always get people like that, no matter where you turn.
If you have an actual question just post it again until you get a satisfactory answer, or email me, I'll help the best I can.
Good luck to ya.

I never said 16 was too young, but I have made comments on the 12 year olds that come on here & have no shame in their game. Like the ones who say they don't care if they get pregnant & they just thing sex is fun. I was 16 when I lost my virginity too (granted it was to the same guy I'm with now, my baby's father) and I don't regret it for a second. I was mature enough at 16 to make that decision, but 12 is a little young....

Ok, maybe we say what we do because it is the trueth and scaring them is the only way the will figure out what is really gonna happen. I had one baby at 15 the second at 16 and I wish there was someone out there that would have scared me, I made it well cause I had my mom and dad suporting me and my baby but alot of girls are not that lucky and really mess their lives up just cause they think they can handle something they really have no clue about. Trust me it is not a easy subject and alot of people only are trying to help but the idea is sooooo freakin scarey that they just do not know what to say or how to deal with it and for the younger mothers that know they just do not want to see the poor girl go through what they did......

i agree, with you but honestly babe, your on the internet and you can't expect everyone to be nice, these people dont know you nor can they see you so they really dont care if they hurt your feelings.
i try to be as nice as possible to everyone thers no need being mean to anyone, so if someone has taken offence to any of my answers i appologise.
honestly i was 16 when i first had sex and i am 23 now and honestly i do wiish that i had waited, i realise now i wasn't ready for it. as soon as i lost my virginity all of a sudden all these guys liked me and wanted to get to know me. ( wonder why) word gets around even if u don't say anything and boys ( not all of them but most of them) start hinking about you for 1 reason. and that is why we get the bad reputation. also there is always a risk at any age of falling pregnant or getting an std but noone wants it especially when u are so young. so if u are having sex please use protection, choose who u have sex with wisely,
there are nice people out there who will want to listen to you you just need to know who those people are. they can be hard to find.
anyway my main point is if u are on the internet u need to be ready for some sort of critiscism.

I'm sure everyone isn't being thoughtless but there are a lot of a holes out here. I'm sure you'll get the help you need if you just hang in there. A lot of us know that young people as yourself need the best answer we can provide but keep in mind the truth hurts sometime so just pick and choose and go to the next answer. I'm going to go to your question you posted earlier OK and good luck!

I haven't read your quetion from earlier but some people on here are just plain rude. I understand that you feel like there is no one else to turn to. It is very difficult for a girl of your age to talk to adults about sex. I don't think I have really become comfortable talking to my mother about sex and I am 29. Of course at my age I really don't have any questions about sex. If you want someone to talk to about sex you can IM me. My yahoo id is tayelor_jades_mom. I will be happy to chat with you about your concerns.

Well I didn't see your original question, but if you are asking about teen pregnancy then you may get some harsh answers from those that are either against it or just being irresponsible in their answers to your plea for help.
Pregnancy is hard enough! Being a teen with so many questions is 10 times as hard. I will try to locate your original question to see if I can help. I am not a teen, but a Mother of two. And I promise you I will be helpful and not condescending.
Good luck to you....................

I was 16 when I first had sex, so I don't think it's too young, I think you just need to make sure that you really feel something for the person you are going to have sex with and that it is right for you, don't just try to "beat the clock, or beat your friends" into that first experience. Really be sure that the person you are going to have sex with is someone you will want to remember forever. Because your first time you will always remember.

People forget that they were young once and made bad choices too, we all do weather it be drugs, dropping out of school, sex at a young age, whatever it may be. Rather than offer advice they make pin headed remarks in order to draw the attention to them.
Let me tell you this aside from killing yourself or another, never be ashamed of your mistakes, its what makes you , "you" and what makes you so special and different from everybody else. Be the best you can be, you know right from, and if your safe about it, its fun to be bad sometimes too.
