I don't see why people are being so rude to them for speaking their minds. They have the right to. We live in a wonderful country where we have the right to free speech where in other countries people get shot for speaking their minds. People actually went out and bought Cd's of theirs just so they could destroy them. That didn't hurt them one bit. They benefited from it. If anyone else would have said they hated president bush no one would have cared but because they are celebrities they got verbally abused and there is no need for that I think. I still support the Dixie
Chicks 100% because they said something that a lot of the people in this country wanted to say.

This girl group should live in Iran and then they'll know what it is like to be a woman over there. You have to walk way behind your partner. You have to wear a vail. That is the sort of thing these women don't understand.

I don't agree with Natalie bashing the President and never believed he apology the first time. I'm really no longer bothered by them as I threw away an old cd and refuse to listen to them.

I give them a lot of credit for speaking their mind, they stood up for what they believe in. Granted, I don't care for country music, but I give them a lot of credit for doing what they did, especially since I dislike Bush too.

Just because they spoke before thinking doesn't mean we should never like them again.
Seems like more & more ppl are feeling the same way about the war, but because their timing was bad, we can't like them anymore?
