I graduated in 2002 and I took my best friend (who is a stud) to the prom with me. I didn't ask any questions about bringing her before we came, and we just walked right on in. We took our prom pictures just as anyone else did.... We danced and all.
You could hear whispers like,,, is that a girl. Lucky I won Prom Princess (not Queen) and I brought her on stage with me. She announced in the mic when we were walking off,,, "and yes, I am a girl".
We didn't stay long after that but it was at our choice. I actually didn't have any problems at all. Just stares. I was just glad she didn't have to go potty!!!

I reckon most people would be surprised, maybe even say rude things/rumors? I've never done that.. but I think you should go for it.. Prom is a really important memorable night, and personally, I would feel really sad if I take the person I wanted to. Reaction probably won't be that bad (Unless it's like a catholic school or way down south), it's just going to be "*Shock* Okay, lets move on to so- and-so's dress" :)

i imagine both of them in basic terms wanted to make a actuality. they could were a huge distraction dancing cheek to cheek at the same time. in the experience that they kissed passionately on the dance floor, even more suitable a distraction. So, they could have ruined a staggering promenade for something of them. feels like it purely takes one or 2 whose purpose is to ruin it for something. they ought to have presented that that they had be coming at the same time and one may be wearing a tuxedo, or how else may the school have properly-known in develop? ask your self what may have got here about if that that they had in basic terms confirmed up with out develop expertise being properly-known? If the ACLU had time to become in touch beforehand the promenade, then it replaced right into a collection-up from the starting up from this extraordinary couple. i do not imagine violence replaced into an project.

It depends on whether you're out or not. My friend Adam was WAY out so no one was surprised. Of course there were a few people who were like "Eww... that's nasty" like the loser at the top, but other people were like "That's cool... just don't have sex in front of us," haha. But I live in Southern Cali so everyone's pretty used to that sort of thing, so I guess it kind of depends on where you live. Just do it and bask in the limelight. People WILL whisper and say things, but it's your night, you know?

No i have not but i dont see why it would matter. If they know your gay and your bring a person of the same sex, then whats the surprise? They know yours gay.
And it depends on where your at and the surrounding culture stuff.
But its a risk but its good to learn.
