I know that doctors say not to give honey to toddlers or infants. But, will it effect me or the baby while I'm pregnant?

I wouldn't eat it..It may contain botulism spores..You can live with out honey and corn syrup for 9 months can't ya....

It's perfectly safe for you to have honey while you're pregnant, but you should NEVER it give an infant under 1 year of age because their immune systems are not equipped to destroy any botulism that may be present in the stuff.

Off course, but like all food, do not over-indulge. Doctors are worried about gibing sugary stuff to infant and toddlers for a few reasons-Tooth decay, over weight, over dependence on sweet taste etc.... But like all things -so long as there is no overindulgence you are safe.

you can eat all the honey you want...you just can't give it to babies becuz it is too thick that they will choke and plus they're bodies won't digest it. but when you are prego your body digest's all foods before it goes to your baby.

you will be just fine, the chances of you getting botulism are sosmall as to be insignigicant, now that they pasturise all honey.

i dont think it will by time it gets to the baby it will be digested
