Hi yall (yup, he's from Texas).
(I thought of this when I was a freshman waking up in a graduate Astrophysics class at UT. But even the professor was having troubles.)

Stars have 3 ways to die. (Look it up.)

If all matter in the universe dispersed and bg radiation cooled except 2 atoms that re-combine in the 'center' (I know, no center in a raisin loaf or balloon surface), they constitute the core.

If all matter re-combines except 2 atoms that break free, they constitute the planatery nebula. So would it be safe to say, instead of the big crunch or big bang the uni will end as a "plantary" nebula death? part core, part nebula?

Just a thought while I eat my snickers bar... ;)

Can't wait to hear what Karman V has to say... he he.

THERE IS CONFUSION IN UR Q ITSELF..
U SAY TWO ATOMS RECOMBINE AND AGAIN ALL MATTERS RECOMBINE AND THEN 2 ATOMS BREAK FREE...

Sounds more like playing with definitions.

Big Crunch -- presumably the universe itself will stop expanding (at least from our viewpoint) and reverse. If mechanism is direct reversal of Big Bang, than entirety of universe will all come back to one point. At this point, it either re-expands or ends.

Big Rip -- increasing levels of dark energy results in increasing vacuum pressure such that matter will break apart into photons, neutrinos and other particles. Expansion of the universe along with this will separate particles away from each other.

Ekpyrotic theory -- at some point in the future, this brane and another brane will collide, resulting in another Big Bang-like event.

Mutual gravitation will bring matter together. The question is whether gravitational forces will be able to overcome either universal expansion or dark energy pressures.

The big crunch and big bang talk about the universe itself.

It seems like you are talking about the matter in it. Your theory, i suppose, would go along with the critical model of the universe where, as time approaches infinity, the expansion of the universe approaches zero.

Although, recent stellar data suggests the universe's expansion rate is accelerating.

astounding video yet no you could still answer the question because ... we are area of the universe and we may be able to only note it from right here and now! Our memory and our ingenious and prescient make us attentive to 2 dimensions; respectively time and area. There may be different dimensions we received't even guess. we anticipate of we may be able to flow in area yet time flows. Is it authentic? we do not understand; we are tied by technique of our biologic nature: we bear in mind the previous and we see and flow in area. yet Relativity says that there is no absolute reference in area or time. everywhere we are, we are on the middle of the universe. it truly is why we note the pink shift of distant galaxies as if they were all transferring faraway from us. yet we may note an similar everywhere contained in the universe and at any time. As I now keep my cup of espresso over my table, i am going to drop it. i am going to do it now, or in some seconds, or under no circumstances. per chance there's a "measurement" the position I do it now, in some seconds, and under no circumstances. added in that measurement, i received't be born and extra away, the earth received't exist. yet one ingredient is for positive: in that measurement, there is no longer an journey the position, when I drop the cup, it strikes up in route of the sky. by using the indisputable fact that defies the guidelines of physics. per chance each and everything it is plausible exists. yet we may be able to only note issues from right here and now. per chance the large crunch will ensue and per chance it's going to be a distinct universe, yet ... per chance all plausible universes exist already. no longer as beans in a jar, in spite of the indisputable fact that, yet as ... a measurement. playstation : My spouse says that if I drop that tumbler of espresso on my table, i'd be in serious difficulty! So, I received't :-)
