Spock was the HALF VULCAN. He was a Human-Vulcan Hybrid. He was the son of ambassador Serek of Vulcan and Amanda Grayson of Earth. He was conceived through the use of genetic engineering (our two species can not breed – we are much too different physiologically).

Spock was half vulcan ( From his father Ambassador Sarek) and half human (from his mother, Sarek's wife, Amanda Grayson). Though 1/2 human, his internal organs were all vulcan - green blood, heart on opposite side of a human's, etc.
