When my mom told me stories about me learning to talk.....She used to say when someone knocked on the door that I would say........."Mom, THE DELLBOOR JUST RANG!"

And she'd say that I called Elephants....Oserfunts!!

Did you say funny things when you were little or have issues remembering what something was called?

Best comment wins an oserfunt!

Great night/day to ya!

My son asked me not to pick him up by his bbq pits because it hurt him. He also called ice cream and the baby sitter Iris, eyewis. My youngest son said that "wheel men don't wheyr shoots." so he refused to wear a shirt. My oldest son told me his eyelips were falling and he wanted to go home to go to sleep. My middle also asked if how tall God was and where he slept? Oh, yeah, and that song my girlfriend hangs a halo over her 4 post bed? My youngest went around telling everyone I had a one night stand just like in the song. I had to explain to him that I had one night stand, not a one night stand. He didn't understand, but everyone else laughed thank goodness.

I hate to admit it,but I was on this local kids show when younger,Miss Pats's Playhouse talking about Swordfish, and was pronouncing it Sword not Sord throughout the show, and I thought I was cool, until told of my blunder by family..this still haunts me to speak in public..

I would always tell people that when I grew up, I was going to be a refridgerator magnet. My sister ate fuzz off the carpet all the time. Ahhh, those were the days....

Of course, I still do! Instead of "Feliz Navidad," I sang "Please Mommy Dot."

I still have my own words for things; words that only my mom knows the meaning to. Example, I call smoke stacks "Aunt Vickie's cigarettes."

I also used to think that singers sat in our speakers and played music just for us.

I was a dim little girl...

Apparently I used to go around the supermarket singing songs mainly songs I had heard from AO records which was a major embarrassment to my folks.

I can't think of my own but when my baby would call the kitty she would hear me say, " Hear kitty kitty, and she would try to repeat it and it would come out way off but oh so cute....... There is no way I can mimic it on here much less in person.... She is the only one that can make this noise..... My oldest tries to copy it, I try but we just can't...... TOO CUTE!!!

The only thing I know I did was call escalators "alligators" cause I couldn't pronounce it right, as well as say "free" without saying "three" instead cause I couldn't pronounce the th sound.
