I'm not a republican by any means, but by grouping them all together you're just as bad as the people you're complaining about. As hard to believe as it is, there ARE nice Republicans. Somewhere. ...Probably. :D

I'm sorry. I am a Republican and I don't belittle anyone or their opinions. If you want an example of belittling please re-read your comments above. I'm sorry you believe that Republicans are "weenies". I also am not a "Christian" so I do not believe in "God" per se... I like to use rational for my arguments and if other peoples actions make you want to dismiss your faith, I hope you don't forget its teachings.

The attacks go both ways. Look at the groups of far leftist that say GW lied about WMD's but they ignore that Kerry, Hillary, Billy Jeff, and just about every leading Democrat (yes even Dean) said that Saddam had them.

Getting even worse look at the far left groups that want to believe Israel and the Republicans blew up the WTC on 911 and that they just made it look like the Islamic Jihadist so we could attack them. I mean - thats hate - real ugly hatred to believe such things so obviously the bitterness and ugliness goes both ways.

As a card carrying Republican I also feel you pain. I loathe the ultra right-wingers that dominate my party. I hate the fact that they use religion as an alibi for their agenda. My main goal as a member of this party is to bring some normalcy back into the party platform. As much as I should change parties I feel I can do more good as a left-of center-repub than a right-of center-demo. I want to make someone like you feel content with a GOP leader unlike what we both feel about our current A**hole in Command.
Keep the faith.....hopefully we will be happy with our next leader....

I'm an atheist, and I voted for Bush. Religion has nothing to do with politics. Morals maybe, but not religion. Anyway, to answer your question, there are immature a**holes from all political views on this site. I wouldn't be surprised if half of them are below the age to vote. Most likely they hear their parents talk, and in turn spew forth those views mixed with the mentality of a three year old.

I am a Republican and not "belittling" others for what they think. As a Republican, however, I do put substance over symbolism...something the Democrates can't seem to do.

I don't have much use for Republicans OR Democrats- they are both just flavors of socialist, and neither bunch would know a Republic if it was dangling from their collective butt by it's teeth.
I'm a rational anarchist, by the way (non statist libertarian, basically)

I tend to agree with you. Most conservative republicans seem to sit "on their high horses" looking down their noses at us "liberals" (hell at EVERYBODY)- and they say they are "more spiritual" than we? It's just pure unadulterated HYPOCRISY. They don't really know what "spirituality" is really all about! It's certainly not about rejecting people, dividing people, patronizing people, labelling people, hating people.... However, it is not enough for me to become an "atheist", I still believe in God. And I'm ever the more certain that "heaven" is full of liberals....
