Every time Al-Qaeda claims an attack in Iraq they validate what Bush said "We have to crush the terrorists where they originate, so as to make American citizens safer."

Exactly, sexy-love! To secure peace is t oprepare for war.Like it or not.So you just sit back and play with your little i-pod, and bake ceampuffs. While the real men go out and make sure that Al Quada has a harder time of killing you in the future.oh by the way, Muslim terrrists dont give a crap about your stupidty or your sympathy they hate you either way hunny and want your head.Maybe it will happen to you one day.Who knows. If we stop short of crushing them where they originate then its very likely that you or your friends could be a victim in the future of muslim extremists.think about that tonight when you lay your pretty little head down on your fluffly polka dotted pillow dear.In the future your mouth is probably best closed.

As a matter of a fact after spending one year in South Korea and looking over the DMZ with my own two eyes, I can unequivicaly tell you that North Korea doesnt have **** but a largeArmy and thats it dear.

With all due respect Ray, touting a catchphrase like"the water is deeper than you think" is a lynchpin of further speculation.Especially when you leave it at that without embellishment.Dont try to play the "I was a 007 secret agent" for the Army.for all know you could have been OIC of the dining facility. OK. Youretired now so your clearance is void now.If you had a point that debunked my multiple premises then you would have said it.But other than your obscure comment at the end you basically agreed with my statements.Goodnight 007.

If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle.

And if Iraq had pineapples, we'd have found a different oil-rich country to get snarky with.

And no, you're not the only one who "sees" these things, you're just the only one ranting about them as though they're absolute truths rather than bullets to be debated.

Yelling it at the top of your lungs doesn't make it true, dig?

ADDED: And, I hate to out YOU as a "flamin' retard" as you so quaintly add, but, you flamin' retard, NK has bragged of and launched weapons theoretically capable of hitting the U.S. So, you flamin' retard, perhaps you can tell the class why we felt the need to attack a country that didn't produce any prohibited weapons after they were told not to while we let NK just blithely continue their pursuit of things that can kill us. So what do you want me to say? That we only go after oil-laden countries? No, we only pre-emptively strike them. Apparently not even launching missiles by non-oil countries warrants an action. So you've proved my point, thank you.

Sorry you're a flamin' retard and all. That must be tough and miserable..

Now, Karl Rove, go home and play some more "Risk" with real people, real lives, real money and real death. It's all a game to you anyway, you flamin' retard...

I am neither paranoid nor pessimistic. I am a retired military officer with some small experience in war. One of the truths about the mid-east is that they have been happily killing one another for centuries before our arrival and will pick up happily killing one another after we leave. The invasion of Iraq was a political statement by the US. We are quite capable of monitoring their activities from a distance and conducting surgical strikes where necessary. The fact that we have not been attacked since 9/11 should be attributed to our intelligence personnel. They geared up for a different kind of action after the attack and have done a great job. Our soldiers do a great job of policing Iraq, given all the circumstances they must deal with, but the intell people find out where to send the military for the most effective strikes. I say this not to be negative about our president, but to let you know the water is deeper than you suggest.

You seem like yo know some stuff, if you really care, look into the nature of Al-Quaeda and look into the links of that organisation between a country like Iraq, and then look at the connections between that organisation and countries like Iran, Syria, Sudan, Egypt, Somalia, Pakistan. Please try to find an impartial news source please. Also think about this, if you open up the borders to a country that is surrounded by havens for terrorists, would you expect terrorists to go there, especially if there are Americans there? I truly hope you actually want to find the truth and not just believing what everyone around you is believing. We have to fight this war right, and so far there have been a whole lot of *** ups, you would realise this I think, if you knew more about the situation, screw politics, screw what everyone around you thinks, what matters is whether we are fighing this war effectively.

Man, we done started something only the end of time can finish. We are never going to end terrorism it's too many of them. We have a better army than they do. The difference between this war and wars in our American history. These enemies never come out all at once like other wars. They play peek a boo style fighting and it's so many of them. They're like a bum trying to become a millionaire...penny by penny! It would take forever! So will this war. I'll be dead and gone and they'll still be playing peek a boo war with America. They're not strong enough to fight straight up, and we have to either make them all come out at once to end this war quicker or end the whole thing and go home. Take your pick.

If people say we fought this war for oil, they don't have their facts straight. Bush said we'll invade Iraq to disable the WMDs that Saddam had, take Saddam out of power in order to eradicate the threat he brought to the US, and that Saddam had a link to Al Qaeda. Later on, he said that we were going to liberate the Iraqis in order to resolve conflict in the Middle East.
P.S. If we really did go into Iraq for oil, how come we're not getting any from them. Only some oil plants are secured and they're only producing at maximum, 2 million barrels of oil a day.

Who really knows why we are over there. Was it because the Israelis decided it was time to take out Saddam? Was it because Halliburton stood to make billions of dollars in profits? Was it because someone really thought Saddam was tinkering with a nuke? or Was it because the US is desperately in need of oil and Iraq had inmeasurably large reserves of oil? Perhaps none of the above. Is it just coincidence that Cheney was president of Halliburton? Is it just coincidence that Bush's family is in the oil business? The saddest part is that we may never know unless Cheney tells us before he dies. I think this may go down as one of the most unfathomable military actions in US history. Why did we do it??? will be asked for centuries to come.

Why aren't we fighting Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and Yemen abnd all those countries? Yup, maybe we should attack all pineapple growing countries. We are running out of pineapples. I guess we should attack North Korea and steal all their pineapples. Iraq was nothing more than Bush's agenda before he came to the White House. Read PNAC before you go spewing off your ignorance.
