I'm 18 years old and I've noticed many guys prefer the "natural look" when it comes to makeup. Please tell me what you think of my daily makeup-I do not put a lot of each thing on and I don't use foundation.

-mascara
-undereye concealer (also used to cover up blemishes/zits)
-powder
-eyeliner (only on top, inside lid)
-a LITTLE bit of eyeshadow
-blush and a dab of highlighter
-chapstick/lipgloss

Total time: about 20 minutes, 15 if rushed

Please don't be too cruel! Thanks.

Ruby we girls don't wear make-up to please guys we wear it to cover up blemishes and to help us feel a bit more confident about ourselves. We also wear it because we enjoy it. I love putting make-up on..it's an art. I also love collecting colors and i love color in general. I find it enjoyable and it's great to come out with great results. It's also fun to exchange ideas with friends and do make-overs on eachother.
The only reason you would ask guys this question is because you want to attract them therefore you want to know if they like it or not. Let me just say this. A guy who would choose not to be with you simply because he doesn't like your make-up, is not worth your time nor is he a guy you would want to marry. Want to know why? Because he is only focusing on the outside. However you need to make sure that you allow your true self that is on the inside to truely come out otherwise i wouldn't blame the guy for not be intrested. So if you want to wear make-up you should wear it because of yourself not guys. The reason for wearing make-up should not be to attract someone but rather to enhance your beauty and cover up unwanted blemishes.
Your make-up rountine sounds a lot like mine. My only advice to you would be to make sure your make-up isn't too visable. While guys should look at the inside, i do think they find it very hard to look into a girls face that is covered in make-up. So go easy on it depending on the occasion.
Well...i hope this helped...sorry it was sooo long and i hope i didn't sound like i was preaching.
I would love to talk more...i'm 18 as well. I would give you my e-mail but i don't really want it to be visable to everyone.
Take care!

-mascara, avoid the type that makes eyelashes stick. Also the amount used should depend on how long and how thick your eyelashes are
-concealer, if you sleep well, then I would suggest not using it. As for zits and blemishes, I would suggest using some of the products out there for zits. For blemishes, I think there are products out there that help remove them
- Yes if you use powder, then it is too much
- A bit of eye shadow is ok, but it should not be dark. Also it should not be an amount that people notice.
- Personally I hate lip gloss

To answer your Q, yes it is too much, reduce by 20-30%

I'd dump him asap. If he likes another girl and she him, WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? Real love doesn't play games or have wandering eyes, it's committed and hard work. You MUST see this as a red flag, a deal breaker, strike three. Your young, i'm guessing, you shouldn't even be considering a SERIOUS relationship that is going to cause you insecurity. Have fun, don't become overly invested in this, WHAT? you can't flirt? Move on, the writing is on the wall and it spells trouble. Do yourself a favor and cut the guy loose, if it is destined to be, it will run it's course and he'll be back. But why you would take him back only you can answer.

It's very nice that you take the time to make yourself up sweetheart, but understand this ... Men don't really like the "natural" look unless that woman is actually "naturally" good looking. I mean, my opinion is this ... why cover up your naturally beautiful face ... answer ... because she is not naturally beautiful. A naturally beautiful woman shouldn't have to cover up her beauty with all kinds of crap. Now, in saying all this ... even a "naturally" beautiful woman needs to put LipGloss/Chaptstick ... that just sets off the beautiful lips, and no man wants to see dry, cracked lips. Another thing I love is a woman that leaves it all natural down below too ... I mean ... not a huge, nasty bush, but a neatly kempt and trimmed bush rules ... girls that go bald down there are just ignorant ... no REAL man likes to run his tongue or lips over a prickly "pear".

Well love, have a good day.

Honestly, what you are using is fine but it should only take about 5 or 6 minutes at the most to apply it .....20 minutes means you are using too much.

i know you said the question was for guys, but really, you are not overdoing it at all, everygirl at least uses that many things, if guys think everygirl can get away with wearing less than that they are definately joking themselves. you're good. majority of guys dont know anything about makeup and dont even realize that those "natural" looking girls are not at all natural.

Too much
Guys don't want to date someone that is hiding her true looks because when you take it off he would be surprised. You'll look totally different good or bad. It's better for him to know up front what you look like

you might be going just a little bit oveerboard with the cheeks. the eys are perfect and lips the same and it's good that you dont use foundation, that what makes it look fake.
