all of the files are in the same folder. the earthbound game, the zsnes and save file.

You could try this:
Delete both ZSNES and the ROMS.
Then go and actually buy a SNES and Earthbound and quit pirating software!
This will fix your problem.

you need to save the game to the emulator. don't press start and save the file on the game. go to the file button on the top of the window and then go down to save. then, when you're ready to play again, put earthbound in the emulator and then go to the file button on the window again and click load and load wherever you saved it. it should bring up where you saved it.
