I'm on night shift!

I'm in Thurrock, Essex, England. Its presently 0932 and I'm on the other side of a cup of coffee and a croissant. Four hours ago when you lodged the question I was in the scratcher and totally laamooed. Good on you for keeping the country going while the rest of us honked. I used to be an Air Traffic Controller so I've met 5am a few times. How is she nowadays?

Totally, Nic! Thirty four minutes past five in the morning. Might as well stay in on Y! Answers for the fifth night in a row!
It is tragic that I answer questions where no follow-up response can be given instead of maybe having real life conversations with people, it is, but I'm hoping that - like my chat room phase - it will pass.

i have sever insomnia and my sleeping pills do not work so i am up very late and do all the things i need to do at night instead of during the day so if i need a nap during the day i have the oppurtunity to take a nap and not feel bad about it and it is also the only time i can talk to my friend from austrailia on line

It's 11;30 in the morning here, GMT + 7 hours. You forget that one side of the planet sleeps as the other rises. I live in remotest Indo-China, but I used to live in UK, so I did get a life.

I should be sleeping, but it's summer vacation. Additionally, my state switched to STUPID daylight savings time so it doesn't get dark till almost 10:00. I have to have so many hours of dark time before I can sleep.
Does anyone else in Indiana HATE daylight savings time as much as I do?

i av 2 new borns so no unfortunately i don't have a life or get n e sleep at the mo, but hey i got 2 beautiful daughters
