Right click on your desktop and choose "properties". When the display properties appear, click the last tab "Settings".
There will be a slider arrow underneath the words "Screen Resolution". Move the slider arrow until you are comfortable with the size of the items online.
Hopefully that does the trick - it sounds like what might have happened. It happens to me all the time at work as other people use my computer when I'm gone.

i dont think it is a virus. it could either be the resolution of your computer or the font size of your internet browser. to change resolution, when on your desktop, right mouse click in an area that is blank. there will be a number of things listed but the one you want is at the end; Properties. click on that and go to the menu called settings. there is a dropdown box that has various resolutions in it, choose one and if its too big, make the resolution higher. also you can go into the Appearance menu. there is a font size dropdown box . in your internet browser there should be a menu. if you have FireFox, it is under tools, Options. I hope this helps!

Right click on the desktop, anywhere but an icon, and go to "Properties". On the Settings tab, increase the resolution. If it doesn't get much higher (i.e. back to your normal settings) or it results in few colors being displayed, check your monitor or video card drivers (if it says Default or Unknown for the monitor or video card rather than what you actually have, that's a bad sign). You can always go to your video card manufacturer's site and try out new drivers.
Are you sure it isn't in safe mode? Do you see "Safe Mode" in the corners of the screen?
Good Luck!

What do you mean everything, ( your browser controls, and the word start at the bottom of the screen are larger), if so Right click the desktop, select properties, then settings. You will see a screen resolution, move the little slider to the left and select ok. your screen will go blank for a second and you will get a little popup, that says ok or cancel. if you like the size select ok if not, click cancel and move the little slider to the left more.

Go to the main screen, your desk top. Where the wall paper is showing and not a file, right click your mouse and select properties
Then select setting from the top file tabs.
Next look down at the screen resolution and move the bar up and down until it looks about like the size its sapose to be. The best size is 3 notches from the beginning.

If the font is huge, go to View (above the search bar), then click on Text Size, and select Medium.

Right click, one the menu that pops up, click on properties. In the window that appears go to Settings. In that window, set your Resolution to as large of a number as it will allow you and apply the settings. This will set everything to as small as your monitor allows, you can then adjust from that!
