My space is limited and I also want it to be very profeshional looking. When people come into my sewing studio, whatever they see will be a reflection of my work.

You can either try several shot glass display boxes, or you can take a skinny wooden dowel, cut it into 3" or larger segments, glue them to a board, and hang the spools.

Go to the fabrics section of Walmart if there's one near you. They should sell like tackle boxes that have thread pegs and places for holding your other sewing accessories. Should not be terribly expensive.

how big are your spools? i know they make dowels of all sizes, you could go to your home improvement store, but some of those, cut them down, then screw or glue them to a thin board...

real low cost spice racks you can find them at thrift stores yard sales you may even have some kicking around works for me for thread and nail polish

Try a wall mounted nail polish rack. They are clear and are easy to hang.

we built a wall using pegboard...then stuck a dowel in each hole
