The winner of the 2006 FIFA World Cup was Italy. They deserved it. Why?
1. They were the only undefeated team in the tournament.
2. They now have the longest undefeated streak in the world - 25 games.
3. They played like a team and never relied solely on one player. They had 10 different goal scorers.
4. They played some very tough teams. They came out of the Group of Death in 1st place, plus they beat the heavily favoured Germans and a tough French team.
5. Defence wins championships and they never conceded any goals by opponents during run-play.
6. They wanted it more than any team in the world.

It is a country look like a boot in the map, first invented the Pizza and Pasta, famous in Mafia gangs and the Land of the Roman empire, still they did not deserve the cup. It was a good shot of luck, THE AZURIES

The team that ripped Australia off, they shouldn't have even made it that far!
Not that I think the aussies would have won but I think we were dealt an unfair blow in the final minutes of he game.
