In time it will be but the Pharmaceutical companies don't want it to be. It controls high blood pressure better than most medicines, eases pain, controls nausea, makes you hungry. It could take the place of several dozen other medicines and they couldn't make any money off of it.

That's it it 's not legal because they have to find a way to tax it, regulate how many plants you can grow ect.. It is legal in some states to grow a certain amount for medicinal use only. It is legal to carry it if you have a prescription for it but, that pot isn't as high in THC as illegal pot. There are no known cases of overdose or bad effects on your body and you don't see people getting high and killing each other.

Well you don't hear too much about someone being stoned while driving and killing a family of 5 in a car wreck. You can just about bank on the fact that it's all about the money, and being able to easily grow your own pot, unlike tobacco or the long process of making alcohol, makes it hard to tax.

It is ridiculous that pot is illegal but we need yuppy looking lawyers to fight for legalization. though groups like NORML are corrrect they tend to make people who think pot should be legal look like nut jobs
yes if they made good weed they could tax it and use money to fight real crimes. hemp is also the strongest plant fiber known to man so we could save trees and make paper, clothing, etc. with a quickly renewable resource

It probably should be legalized as a controlled substance, the government could pay off its national debt and secure our borders and fully fund healthcare with the revenue!
