I hate to break this to you, but there will be no bird flu pandemic. Sure, there is a one out of a thousand chance something could happen, but our government is using this mere chance as a smokescreen to cover up what should be a true outrage. The war in Irag is killing and maiming our young men for absolutely no reason at all. Bush is fulfilling his personal vendetta using people's irrational fear of an outbreak which never happened. He tells us first Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, then we are bringing democracy to a country which never had it , and as soon as we leave, will revert to it's muslim roots. It will be ruled by an all-powerful religious warlord.

I think he has been and will continue to do nothing... and in doing so, people will actually like him more than they were when he was taking actions and screwing things up...

have you noticed since he hasn't been making any decisions... after all the blunders of Harriet Meyers and ports... he has been pretty much quiet...

if he doesn't do anything... he can't screw up... and his approval rating has been going up because of it... hahahaa

And so your saying you would rather have the terrorist activities here? I guess you wouldn't mind if the mall you and your kids hang out at would blow up. You see the terrorism that's over in Iraq right now. Well if it wasn't over in the middle east it would be her. 9/11 is proof of that. Look at what those people in the middle east have to deal with that you don't ( Thank you Pres Bush) you should be grateful you have never experienced such terror that Israel and Jordan , etc have to. We Americans have become complacent with our status quo and think the rest of the world is as safe as we are. This is your absolutely nothing you speak of and our solders understand that ,, ask them they will tell you. I know many people who are over there and who have relatives over there and they feel its worth being over there so that we You, Me, All of us can sleep well and go to work and play safely,,, and you throw that back in their faces. I am disgusted. And so what if they form a democracy that fits them and their religion,,,, we have. Those people are enjoying freedom,, for the first time,,, they have no idea what it is about yet. They are bound to make mistakes ,,, we still do. I suggest you come out of your candy coated shell and see the world for what it is.

Someday there will come a time when war is a thing of the past,, We are not there yet.

You need to do more research, dear. The bird flu isn't something made up by a political party, but a true concern among people whose jobs are to pay attention and be ready to deal with these types of issues. Like scientists, doctors, health care workers, etc.

No doubt there was someone just like you back in the 1330's saying, "Black plague? There's no black plague." Or HIV/AIDS. "There's no HIV/AIDs, it's all just a VAST RIGHT - WING CONSPIRACY."

You're a dolt.

You people make me sick. You cry because some sick bastard can't keep killing his own people by the tens of thousands. You want Saddam in power so he could keep bank rolling terrorism targeting the US and it's people around the world. Now that your buddy Saddam is no longer a threat, you lash out at Bush like little girls.

Bush is going to be on his best behavior until after the midterm election. He desperately needs his party to maintain its majority or it means serious investigations into his Presidency.
Once he "fixes" that problem, it'll probably be just more of the same...feed the wealthy, starve the poor and do whatever he can to guarantee the permanence of Republican power.
