Because of a phenomenen called SCATTERING. The red color is the least scattered and the blue is most. Thats why sky appears blue. The sun's rays undergo scattering as they enter the atmosphere.

Bcoz the sun light is white in colour which is composed of seven colours VIBGYOR. All the 7 colours gets scattered by the air molecules. Since the colour with min wavelength ie violet is scaterred most, sky appears blue.

this means that u are not colour blind and u know the blue colour
when u look up to the sky it coloured blue
