it looks fake? you guys want natural beauty?
then why are all the guys nowadays waxing every inch of their body?? that's fake and not in any way shape or form, natural for a man. that's only the beginning of strange things guys do, that they think looks good.

Think about it this way. If a person is an ***, their makeup isn't going to change that fact and their unattractiveness will show thru the facade of mascara. If they are a truly warm and pleasant person to be around, we like to be around the real person and not someone who wears a mask all the time. The phrase "a little can go a long way" really applies here. Just the minimal highlights can enhance the features of a woman.
In terms of the smell, a light scent which covers the woman is much more appealing to the senses than is a strong wave that hits us and can make us nautious. Think about the difference when you smell a nice light scent vs. an overpowering wall of toxic fumes.
What you look like underneath (physically) will show regardless of the makeup. The more make up you wear, it displays your insecurities and causes some guys to shrink away.
IMO one should put on enough to feel comfortable but light enough for a guy not to smell you five feet away. It makes it less intimate and more bimbo like.

Now, I'm OLD, but here's my opinion. I think that most women look better with just a little makeup to enhance their appearance. I have never liked the effect of a lot of make-up. I just prefer the more natural look. It's just a personal preference, and I don't know that I can articulate exactly why I feel that way. It has nothing to do with what the lady will look like without makeup. I can't remember ever having thought that myself.

You are partly right. Too much makeup looks fake. Like painting a car without fixing the rust and then selling it. It is a form of fraud.
Many women don't realize this, but they put makeup on for other women, not for men. It becomes a marketing competition, whereas the men either like you or don't, and if they do, they aren't going to be changed by comparing your makeup to someone else's makeup.

Makeup on a girl/woman is alright as long as she doesn't end up looking like Tammy Faye Bakker. We should also be able to see the natural beauty. Some women cover themselves up in makeup which makes us feel that she has something to hide. Mascara, eyelashes, lipstick, blush are all okay as long as they are not applied garishly. Hope this helps.

i have to be honest and say that looking back over the guys i have dated over the years that the one that holds the most special place in my heart is the one that on our first date when i got in the truck he handed me a napkin and told me to wipe off that lipstick. i was dumbstruck for a minute. then he says well it doesn't really taste good when you kiss and that he didn't want to be wearing lipstick by the end of the night. we dated for just over a year and he stayed over all the time. (i lived with my sister at the time) he always slept with me and woke me up in the morning with juice in bed. so i never got to get up and fix my hair or put on makeup and he loved it when i didn't wear it. he said he would rather see me without it because he loved the natural look. that he would rather see what you look like without it so he would know if you were gonna scare the hell out of him in the morning after he married you when he saw you without the "warpaint".

According to my husband, guys don't like makeup because girls who cake it on are falsely advertising their appearance, and the grittiness and stickiness make the women less touchable.
I look at women who can't leave their house without a full layer of makeup and wonder what they're trying to hide. Insecurity isn't sexy.

Yes going to bed with a glamour and waking up next a troll is a horrible experience....
Nah... that has never happend... Too much make up truly looks like Ronald McDonald... It's horrible... A little to highlight those lovely womanly features is enough... That is just my opinion though...

How would you feel if you picked up a date and they had cakes of makeup? Consider Heat, sweat, clean mens shirts and lastly, some women don't know how to apply makeup and look like fools

Makeup doesn't make you look any better and the reason you wear it is manipulation by people who sell makeup. Over the long term, it makes you skin look like shoe leather. Men would prefer that not happen to your skin....duh.

I think it is a bad habit for a girl to get into. It is expensive and unnecessary. but if you use it don't abuse it. Use it to enhance not to cover or hide. The first time your boyfriend sees you without makeup you'll be very scared.
