Women mature faster than men emotionally. A 20 something man isnt in the same mind set as a 20 something woman (in general).

Men usually have their act together by the time they are in their early-40s where women your age find them attractive.

I know for a fact. 10 years ago, a girl in her twenties wouldnt give me the time of day. Now I have to beat em off with a stick!

I don't know why that happens.
Take me for instance. I married when I was 23 to a woman
of 19. Nothing wrong with that. We got divorced 2 yrs later.
I'm 25 and I start dating another 19 year old. That didn't work
out. So I'm now 26 and now I'm dating a 20 year old. Even-
though I'm looking for someone my own age, I keep going
to that same age bracket. When I was 30, I'm with a 20 year
old. When I was 38, I'm with a 25 year old. When I was 40,
I'm with a 20 year old again!!! I don't know what it was. I didn't
have much money but I never took any from them either. I
don't consider myself a hunk or anything like that. Handsome
and good looking, maybe. I just don't know!
I'm 54 now and I'm trying to find someone my own age or
even a little bit older. I know I can still get the 25's and the
30's, but I don't want that anymore. I'm looking for the 50's
and maybe the early 60's. Why don't I have any luck with
that???
No, I don't think there's anything wrong with you. This is just
your preference. If this is what you wanted at the time you
needed it and you were happy, you satisfied your needs.
You don't have to feel guilty about it and it's nobody's business
but your own.

I was married to a guy 13 years older, and, am now living with an older man. I always found myself better off with them, they just understand me better than men my own age. As I get older that's evening out more, but when younger I was a quite intelligent lady looking for conversation with guys most interested in boobs and how I compared to their friends' girlfriends. Didn't appreciate that, I wanted conversation and being treated like an equal.

I'm a 40 yr old male, and for most of my life have had long term relationships with older women (10+ yrs difference)...married one of them even...and divorced her. I often asked myself this same question about why I have been attracted to older women. The nearest I can figure is that they challenged me mentally; were more gameful sexually; were more serious about committment; had suffered enough to appreciate life more; appeared more grateful for the relationship; had most of their wandering wild oats sowed already; could cook better; and had just enough touch of their parents old school of thought to make for a more cultured life...

Well, I got to be around 40, and the age differences became more & more evident, to the point I believe (in my last relationship) we were both uncomfortable with it...not to mention her adult children were still living with us for free, and had never been taught consequences by their mother. It was unbearable.

I'm back in a relationship now with (hate to coin a phrase) my baby's mother (my "baby" is 17 & on his way to college now). She is 3 years younger than me, but has all the qualities I looked for in older women as I had grown up. It sure feels right to both of us, and I feel like I'm dating my highschool sweetheart again.

Everyone has their preferences. Yours is older men. It's not that unusual. (Tho some might tell you it's some issue you had with your dad or something, but I just think it is your thing.)
I like guys with blue eyes...but I'm not gonna refuse to date someone just because they don't have blue eyes.
You are attracted to older men...but that didn't stop you from marrying someone your age. You may like older men but you haven't let it become any sort of unhealthy obsession so no worries :-)

No, nothing wrong with you, in terms of your older men preference. I prefer younger women, afterall. But maybe there is,
interms of your choice to marry a man, whose not older than you.
I would be totally unhapy with a woman whose older than me, or even taller than me. Maybe you're not happy because you're not with an older man. Much as I oppose divorces, maybe you should divorce. I'm available. You might be happier with me.
I'm older. But what you do, is up to you.

Whats the problem everyone has preferences nothing wrong with yours. I've always tended to end up with younger women...just kind of works out that way sometimes.

I don't think there's anything wrong with you. You're just attracted to who you're attracted to. Older men just seem to gravitate towards me, I don't know why. It has made me somewhat curious though.
