how do you put string in the homelite sx135 gas trimmer?

First obtain the proper line size for your trimmer. Unscrew the bump head screw and remove the line cartridge. There will be a hole(s) for the trimmer line. If the unit uses two lines feed appox. 30 feet through the line hole (on the base where you start wraping the line). Pull through hole and match each end of line so they are the same length. Wrap both lines together in the direction of the arrow on the bottom. When at the end feed lines through eyelitsand place head back on trimmer. Replace bump head screw. Start trimming!

Turn the weed eater upside down and pull the spool out from the dispenser. It may take a good pull but it will come out. Put the right size triimer cable back in it. There are arrows on the dispenser head that will tell you the way to wrap it on. Just follow the directions and it will go fine.
