Assuming that you are asking about islands on an ocean, not a lake, then there are no such islands.
There is good news, however. While there are dozens, if not hundreds of species of sharks, there are only a handful of sharks which are agressive enough to attack humans on a regular basis or unprovoked. The Great White lives in the cooler waters. In tropical waters, the Oceanic Whitetip Sharks and the Tiger Shark are your primary concerns.
I have snorkeled in waters of the Carribean and around Hawaii. In both places, I have seen sharks, and had no fear of them. The last time, I was at Molokini, of Maui, and I saw a shark cruising about 30 feet below me. Rather than swimming away, my first instinct was to dive down for a better look. Look, mind you, not touch.
Staying safe involves two aspects: (1.)Know which animals, including sharks, can be in the area with you. (2.) Know how you can reduce your risks. Don't look like food, and don't agrivate wild animals.
