I think it might be something your skin just doesn't take to well. You should try Olay body Quench lotion!

could be either one, or neither. Since individual body chemicals react to the products we use each product is going to have different results from person to person. Think of your lotion like women think of fragrance. Even though the fragrance doesnt change from bottle to bottle, from woman to woman the fragrance varies a little. Bottom line try another lotion, i dont particularly like avon, some basic cocoa butter is worth a shot. i personally use a 10 bottle of dry oil spray from the body shop, it keeps my skin super soft all day, i mean really great feeling skin, just spritz on after you bathe, while your skin still has some moisture, it locks that water in, which is great for your skin. Hope that helps

I don't think avon has higher priced, or even better quality products than what is sold in drug stores. I personally don't like avon...I break out! Try using aveeno lotion, it's the best :) If you bought that avon lotion recently, you can always return it!

Did it feel like the lotion turned to water when you rubbed it on?
If it did, your skin is extremely dry and will sometimes feel sticky.
Just use more lotion. Also, put lotion on IMMEDIATELY after you get out of the shower, when you're still sopping wet. The lotion will be able to soak into your pores much better, since the water acts as a vehicle.
Good luck, and hope your lovely skin feels better. :D

I use Cholostrum lotion that is sold in Smart Nutrition Health stores. It makes your skin feel incredible. Incase you werent aware what cholostrum is its the first clear liquid a mother feeds to her baby to develope the immune system. Now a company called Symbiotics has harnessed bovine cholostrum which is ten times stronger than human cholostrum and made it availabe in caplet form for adults , chewables for kids (my kids dont have allergies now thanx to this one) and then there is the cream that I highly recommend. Creates a great smooth hydrated skin feeling.

I've used Avon skin-so-soft and it's not like that. I think you got a bad batch.

bad lotion, I would go by Vaseline or Jergens and try Avon on one arm and the other lotion on the other arm and see what you think

It may be old, it may be humid, or you may just be noticing it recently.
I use Mary Kay products. I'm a guy so I dont really care, but people around me have become consultants and if I dont use the products, I dont get to eat Mom's cookin'. They're actually great products. It took my wife a long time to switch to Mary Kay from her fancy schmancy department store 'snake oil.'
