I think the early generation Mexicans that settled in the U.S. were here to better themselves and provide for their families. However the folks that coming over today are lazy and feel they are entitled to a good life and just sit on their asses and have the hard working man to pay for their kids and free medical. Being a second generation Californian ,I feel I can truly speak from experience. I am also a former paratrooper(82nd Airborne) who has served my country well and proudly.

They are nice. One of my best friends was Mexican. People think that other races are very different but when your best friend is a different race it doesn't seem like their any different from you. Mexicans are generally nice and don't say mean things about people because everyone was made in the image of God.

Mexicans from Mexico are great people, in my experience. Some of the Mexican Americans fall into the gangster/thug image too readily, but I also know many who are good people.

Honestly, I think all people are basically the same. It doesn't matter what your nationality is, or what color you are. People are people, humans.
The one thing I dont get is that when we as American's travel to another country we are EXPECTED to speak some of that language. When some people come here why is it that we as American's are making adjustments in our daily routines to accomodate foreigners? I don't get that.
An example I can use honestly is that when we traveled down to Florida a few years back, we went into Walmart and not one person could help us because we did not speak Spanish. Thats crazy. We live in AMERICA and we can't get help because we don't speak Spanish. Same thing happened in McDonald's we actually had to point to the number on the sign for what we wanted to order. The town was Clewiston,FLA. I live in Ohio.

Great food, a lot of energy, one of the most beautiful languages on earth, the most gorgeous women, tropical weather, pristine jungles and ruins..... Mexicans rule! I kind of wish I could go there or at least knew more Mexicans! I'd fight my mama to know Spanish fluently!

here in the U.S.A they are hard working people that escape their poverty in their country. they are people that want a better life for themselves and your offspring. i respect the mexicans becasue of their hard work and yes some are illegal but wasnt this country formed by immigrants???
