Not one bit, our rights were designed by people who built our nation as an autonomous entity within the world and the constitution can not be superceded by a foriegn power. Regardless of the fact they're based on American soil. And besides that bloated carcass of a world body doesn't stand a chance against the state of Pennsylvanias gun owners let alone our militaries power. All they can do is talk and wave their arms around, in the end it means nothing to us.

The 2nd Ammendment has nothing to do with defending ourselves against terrorist nations. It has everything to do with defending ourselves from OUR OWN GOVERNMENT. It doesnt matter who the president may be at the time, be it liberal or conservative, all of the power hungry baby-boomers know that first to step to a totalitarian government is de-arming the population. As far as the UN, its a joke. Nobody in the US cares about the UN simply because we, as a soverign nation have nothing to gain from but everything to lose from such an organization. Can you remember the last time the UN did anything constructive? I sure as hell cannot. Besides, look who is running the UN for Christ sake, all of the UN leaders are fat-cat politicians from all of the third-word Hell-holes across the globe. Theyre a bunch of power hungry war-mongers and thugs, and the only reason that they participate in the UN in the first place is because they dont have the aptitude to run their sorry excuse for countries themselves. They'd rather have a world-wide communist party then to actually have to work and progress their respective nations. The UN put the country of Libya in charge of their human rights committee for the love of God. I wouldnt put a sh-thole country like Libya in charge of the dumpster behind my office, let alone a human rights council. Its all a f-*king joke. The UN, much like all forms of 'Government', if you can call it that, are nothing more than a bunch of third world thugs that pocket all of the money given to them by the U.S. meanwhile their own people are dying of AIDS, starvation, avian flu and God knows what other horrible disease. More recently, look at the Oil for Food Scandal. Politicians profited while their people died. And just where in the Bloody Hell was the UN when a MILLION people were slaughtered in Rwanda in 1994? Nobody in the UN seems to remember that. So to you I say this, if the UN ever tried to disarm the citizens of the U.S. we'd have a hell of a lot more to worry about than Osama. I'd worry about George Bush, John Kerry, Hilary Clinton, Ted Kennedy and the rest of the corrupt U.S. government. But, thats just me, I could be wrong. But I'm not.

No, the UN doesn't concern itself with the domestic policies of the US. I am assuming that this question is about the ignorant assumption that the UN was trying to pass measures to force US citizens to give up their guns. That is such a misunderstanding of the situation it is laughable. The UN doesn't tell the US what to do, and even when it does, the US doesn't pay attention. If this is not in fact an ignorant misunderstanding of the UN's actions (but I suspect it is), how exactly is the UN trying to take away our constitutional rights?

That's a simple no. We contribute our tax dollars to pay for their HQ and they give us a prompt middle finger for our troubles ... The UN is as useful as our appendix and it should be converted into a Starbucks. Why, you ask? Well because it is just a place to have a cup of coffee and talk with interesting people ... NOTHING ELSE!

The UN can not take our constitutional rights away. But they can apply pressure to US pollititions who can. By all standards the UN is
a governing party of no one. They basicly sit and say who can do what and who can't but even if somone does it they really can't do a damn thing.............

No, they can't, and they havn't so what is your point? Just because they take a position that we should have gun control does not in any way effect what happens here. People are too damn paranoid.

No, but if you let liberals like John Kerry, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, George Soros, etc. have their way, you won't have any rights.
