President George W. Bush declared March 27 to be National Opposite Day. "For too long, now, 'No' has meant 'no', " Bush said during the nationally televised address. "But today, at long last, 'no' will mean 'yes' ... and 'yes' will mean 'no'."

Hahahaha!
Every year my students (7 and 8 year olds) come to school claiming it's opposite day at some point in the year. Usually near the end.
Very seriously I tell them that "Today isn't opposite day. It's in June, near the end of the month."
They always believe me. And that solves the problem of opposite day in the classroom.

Now if I can only convince them that April Fool's Day is during the summer vacation months too!!

This sounds absurd, but my best friend and I organized our school's opposite day, and it's always either on March 31st or April 2nd

tommorow
or is it today and i told you tommorow cause it's the opposite of today
no it was yesterday cause yesterday is opposite of tommorow and that would mean that tommorow is opposite day if today was opposite day and if i said today and it really is opposite day then it wouldn't be today it'd be tommorow.
