You know in your Q you have inferred that Zidane is in fact a terrorist and that there may be others. There really is no need to ask a question that is going to invoke feelings of hatred and rage. You are are like gasoline trying to further ignite the fire. The truth will probably come out in the end and perhaps you should wait and see what that is before posting things that will stir the emotions of other users and have them arguing with each other. He did not do it for nothing, because he just felt it would be funny. Something was said.

Who cares what it was about. He should have known better than to retaliate. When I was in high school I played soccer and got called a stupid chink once, (I'm not even Chinese) although I nearly was about to kick him in the head I stopped myself knowing that I could cause the team to lose if I got red carded. So, after the game I got in my car followed their bus all the way back to their school, waited for him to get out and then proceeded to kick his ***. I was suspended from school for a week but we still won that game. That is what Zidane should have done.

Zidane is actually a great sportsman ,who has shown much sportsmanship on the field as well as being one of the best players in the world cup.

,that headbut incident ,was because the guy agressively marked him and insulted him ,

and that was his reply.

Racism is rampant in International Soccer. So what? He was aware of the dirty tactics that may be used against him and if the assertion is true he showed weakness and allowed it to effect him. True champions do not allow themselves to be detered by dirty tricks.

If there are more muslims in "french" national team, i guess the answer on your question can't be affirmative.
Muslims = terrorists (the shortest explanation).

i dont think materazzi really said that. i think people are just trying to perpetuate the racism aspect of this world cup further. it must have been serious im sure, but i dont think he would say something like that...at least i hope not.
