My "mom"
(Happens to be a very nice elderly lady who lives 2 doors away from me on her own since I was a kid, who knows little English)
She knows absolutely nothing about cars.
She sign's a contract (I have no idea what but she said all of them) on a used car.
She tells me about it when I get back home from work and went to the dealership to check it out.
I tell her she's being ripped off, so we go into a office to see if there is any way the dealership will cancel the contract.
They gave me the run around and I said look "we don’t want the car period" they gave me the run around again, words where exchange and we left the dealership very angry.
The term was she had to put down $5000.00 I don’t know if it was verbal/written because THEY NEVER GAVE HER A COPY OF THE CONTRACT.
However theye said the paperwork was sent to the DMV (california).
I know she signed the contract but is there any way of getting out of it?
Any help would be greatly appreciate.
