i have too many favorite bands.. reasons because they are all great and can fit my personalities/moods:
Metallica- 1980's,, My Chemical Romace- 2000's(maybe 1998/9),, Guns N' Roses- Not sure 1980's?,, Ozzy osbourne/black sabbath- 1970's/1980's, Queen-1970's, Def Leppard- late1970' early 1980's, AC/DC 1980's? Fall Ouy boy- 2000's (maybe 1999), Godsmack- 1990's, Linkin Park- 1990's, Green Day- early 1990's.Bon Jovi- 1980's, Crdle of Filth- 1990's, Aerosmith- 1980's maybe late 70's, and more that i cannot think of

The Beatles-- their first release was in 1963 but you can get bootlegs of earlier stuff. Why are they my favorite: They reshaped music and the music culture in all to what is is today both Pop and Rock. That is why you still hear their tunes 40 years later! They are the Mozart and Beethoven of our time. If you do not understand that- pick up a copy of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band and listen to it closely. You will find more complex compositions and layering of studio effects and instruments than was ever attempted before. Their over abundance of talent, coupled with far reaching creativity, is what you will never find within a single group of musicians again. That is why Rolling Stone magazine still rates this release as the number one album of all time and they are rated by many many people as an easy choice for the number one band as well.

It's The Partridge Family and they are sooo groovy. I liked Keith and they came out in the 70's. After that, it was The Osmonds and Jay was my fave.

Rascal Flatts, 2000, and they just have the most beautiful voices and they're all hot! All of their songs are wonderful and they are the true blue reason why I listen to music (them and Toby Keith)! Music wouldn't be good without them...

My favorite band is Queen by far. They released their first album in 1970. EVen though I wasn't even alive then, I still love them!
