I'm about to enter college and I was thinking about selling Avon as a side job, but I'm not sure if I'd have enough customers. If you were in college (or are or are going to be) would you buy from someone selling avon? (Avon doesn't just sell makeup, it sells shampoo, soap, bags, shoes, watches (even mens), clothes, toys, movies, etc)

No. College students would like to try and feel the products before they buy them. They will certainly not just look into the catalog and place and order. Also, college students like to try out different brands as this is the time of the life when they experiment so generally speaking they will not give repeat orders very often. also, when he lipsticks and nail polishes are on a discount you may find buyers but at full price Avon products are more expensive than some good brands in the market.

Also, If you are not able to make a minimum sale every month you will not be able to make a profit.

I like your spirit of entrepreneurship. Will do you good.

A suggestion :do not stick just to Avon but also join on other direct marketing products like oriflame etc that way you will have a variety to offer and you will make money out of it.

My very best wishes for your future.

in my opinion, as a school student, mark. must be a extra perfect determination for you. even as Avon businesses ought to correctly be very effective, it calls for far extra attempt and time and also you many times have the prospect of dropping your account simply by inaction or no longer assembly revenues quotas. mark is owned by employing Avon, regardless of the indisputable fact that that's promoting structure is determined up a lot in yet in a unique way. There are minimum promoting criteria or order cut-off dates, there's a 30-35% cheap continually, and your on line website is loose. With Avon, you ought to order each and every few campaigns, your earnings structure fluctuates, you possibility dropping your account, and also you're charged on your on line website in case you haven't got a particular sort of revenues coming by potential of it. mark is likewise marketed to a "youthful" crowd and must be something you've slightly extra achievement with promoting-sensible. both are patently large agencies, yet as a school student myself, I favor the flexibility of mark a lot more suitable than I did even as i became with Avon :) also, certain Avon districts are extra pushy about having you attend month-to-month conferences, while with mark, that's strictly non-obligatory (and with Avon that's non-obligatory besides, yet some District Managers are very persistent). once you've any questions, allow me understand. in case you settle on to bypass with mark, use referral code 146 on the signup and that i'd be able that ought to help you out alongside the way with construction your company. in case you bypass with Avon, best of success to you! you ought to correctly be surprisingly effective with both!
