Something's telling me to hate it, but I don't really know why.
There's this voice in my head screaming, saying that they're for lame, pathetic people that needs more time off the PC.
Not my voice, though.

The part about the lame, pathetic people is not true. There ARE some pretty nice people that use these sites either because they are shy or because they are too busy to get out.
I personally think that they are better for finding one-night stands rather than lasting relationships, though.

Hey, depending on your personality, it might be worth a shot. I mean, how is it that different from people who hang out in bars ? Isn't that for lame pathetic people with addictive personalities ? Dating in grocery stores; for people with eating disorders ? Those speed-dating services; surely for people with short-attention-span syndrome ??
I have yet to hear of any perfect way to meet a potential partner.

To each his own, I wouldn't do it myself,you never know who's telling the truth,or who's lying to you. You don't know if they've posted their own pic or someone elses. They could be completely different people in person once you meet them, scary!
