The question that should be asked (and hasn't been yet) is what is going to be the final outcome of this presentation?

Is it going to be for a DVD? If so, then I'd strongly suggest using the Ulead CD/DVD Pictureshow software for around $39. It allows customizable menus, individual and group image transition, motion menus, menu audio, slide show audio, multiple slide shows and much more. Check it out at http://www.ulead.com/dps/runme.htm

If it's going to be for a simple presentation for a board meeting or business venture, then something like PowerPoint will work, where the software is aimed at creating presentations, not neccessarily movies.

Is the final product going to be on the web? If that's the case, something like Atki Album (http://tucows.com/preview/410177) which is free or Album Express (http://tucows.com/preview/219609) might be what you want. Check out http://tucows.com/Windows/DesignTools/Image/ImageGalleriesAlbums/ for more image editors that create slide shows for web presentation, along with various other output formats

You can do it with Windows Movie Maker or Microsoft Power Pont. Windows Movie Maker is easier I think.
