I agree with you. Frances Bean has had a rough upbringing. 1st her father died, and her mom is not the most stable person on earth. Hopefully there are other family members who can support her emotionally as she grows up.

Wow. Amazing question. Cobain is a good choice, because his father is dead in a tragic, yet very public fashion, and his mother is seriously screwed up, not to mention any issues Frances has from prenatal drug exposure.
The kid Michael Jackson had would have to be high on the list, if only because he may never get a chance to develop as a normal human being. That still pales in comparison to Cobain.
Honorable Mentions: Chelsea Clinton, Brittany Spears' baby, Julian Lennon (dad was murdered, and his mom is a nut job).
Old school: Charles Lindbergh's baby who was kidnapped and killed. Doesn't get worse than that.
