Why do conservatives organize their political ideas with the need for the stern father model of government?

The conservatives don't waste their time convincing with inspiring arguements or new ideas, they cut right to the meat with stern finger pointing and testy threats. Even the lady neo-cons talk like they were somehow magically convinced that men are, indeed, the natural leaders.
It gives the impression that the wife is never brought along to town. The she's always left at home to sew, cook and mend the fences while slightly bowlegged men do the talking and the finger poking in the eye.
When is the singing cowboy and preacher with a wide sombero going to be made to get off his high horse? Or when are the woman going to knock him off. It's your job ladies.

You are correct to some extent.

In order to really understand the problem with conservative thinking you must learn its roots.

Yes, believe it or not the modern conservative movement isn't very old.
Roughly it was born around 1940 through the writings of Peter Viereck,

Believe it or not both political american parties subscribed to the label of liberal............before Viereck

republicans and democrats used the liberal label.

Viereck was the first to articulate modern Conservatism.
He was the related to German Kaiser, his father was the illigitmate son of the Kaiser......

Although Veiriks father was illigitmate, he was a strong supporter of the Greman world view......this influced Peter Vieriks world view and hence influenced the conservative movement........

Probably because of catering to the Christian right and all that comes with the patriarchal mindset. I would like to point out, however, that it is the liberal side of the government that has the history of 'government as your daddy' expansionist mindset of governance.

FDR was one of the most pathetic examples of overexpanding government with all the government programs and agencies he created. Lyndon Johnson further expanded government subsidies and programs and the Democrats are still the primary party movers forwarding the agenda of trying to move big brother into our homes.

Granted, the Patriot Act was enacted under the Bush administration, but it had lain fallow - primarily created by the Democrats under the Clinton administration - and was finally able to rear it's ugly head a mere couple of weeks after 9/11. That lenghthy piece of tyrannical legislation had been flying around the Congress since about 1996, and it took 9/11 to get it enacted into law - because before 9/11 it was the conservatives who kept voting it down. Do some legislative research on that issue and then come back and gripe about your feminist agenda, sweetie.

1. Because liberals are immature children who need to be protected from themselves till they grow up, repent, and turn from thier rebellious ways.. God our Father has appointed spiritual fathers and poitical fathers over us to protect us and provide order in spite of your rotten brat attitude. 2.. God willing, never. Roy Rogers was a great christian example for every man. Billy Graham is a hero to millions. 3. no woman with good sense would even try such foolish rebellion. Women enjoy the pedistal good men put thier woman upon and don't want you messing it up. Women's lib is for ugly hearted rebellious thangs that are way out on the fringe who have lost contact with reality...
