The age when you are ready is different for each individual. Plus most people say you are never 'ready' until the baby is in your arms. It is hard to fully imagine being a parent until you are one!
I had my first child a few months before I turned 18 and I felt more ready having her than I did having my second at 23.
I honestly believe you should be with someone you love, and see a future with, although nothing is ever guaranteed. You should be financially stable and able to care for the child on your own; without anyone elses help. You should be mature enough to have a savings set aside for emergencies.

When you are married and can support a child is the best time to have your first one.... or, if you are young, even right after you get married, the added stress will help you grow up faster
it is not a good idea to think about having children after the age of 40... there are medical reasons for this... such as increased possibility for certain deseases related to "aged eggs"
Drinking, smoking, taking drugs, etc... are NOT a good time to be pregnant... they can cause SERIOUS problems in your babies development.

I'd say if you were planning on going to college, 24 or 25 so you're out of school & stable enough to do what you would like with your life, but not too old to play with the baby & have all that extra energy. I've never been the going out partyin type though, so I didn't mind having my son young (I'm 20), I don't feel like I missed anything, having a family is what I wanted to do with my life.

Depends on you. Some people are ready to have kids younger, some older. I guess a safe age would be around 26 to 28, married, and able to support a kid (they're really expensive).

a lot of young girls are getting pregnant.but i can honestly say that in your 20s is the best, doctors tend to say that women who are 30 and older have more complications, but i think that if it their first child.
